Our home is equipped with an 400-gallon private cistern that supplies water directly to the home, allowing guests to use the faucets, showers, toilets, and other fixtures normally even when municipal service is limited or interrupted. Because the cistern provides a finite water supply, guests may not notice the water disruption but responsible water usage is essential to ensure the supply lasts throughout their stay. We provide guests with clear guidance on water conservation so they know how to use the system responsibly. Additional delivery is available if needed, but responsible water usage and management from our hosts has historically allowed our guests to enjoy their stays without requiring one. Our goal is for guests to enjoy a comfortable, normal stay without feeling the effects of Puerto Rico’s ongoing water challenges. The perfection of this location is to combine walking with the use of bicycles, scooters, taxis or UBER. Everything is very close, being in the center many times during the day you find a lot of traffic, most of the streets only have one direction and the best way to get around is on foot.
